Pulaski Technical College (PTC), held the Grand Opening of the newly constructed Business Technology Center today on the main campus in North Little Rock, Arkansas. With the help of the Pulaski Technical College Foundation, Board of Directors, the surrounding business community and a number of donors, Dr. Dan F. Bakke, Pulaski Technical College President, dreams for the new Center were realized. The new Business Technology Center is a 20,405 square foot, four-story addition to the current Information Technology Center on PTC’s main campus. The buildings are connected with a curved glass wall that leads to a student commons area with flexible seating and computer areas for students. “This [curved glass wall] is my favorite part of the building, said Mr. Augustus Farver, Interim Vice President of Instruction for Pulaski Technical College. The students really love this space and use it often,” Mr. Farver continued. The Center will focus on curriculums for growing technology based programs such as accounting, management, office technology, entrepreneurship, paralegal technology, law enforcement studies and medical office technology. Overall, the new center will serve to add flexible classrooms and administrative space to the School of Business. Wittenberg, Delony and Davidson, Inc. (WD&D) has worked with Pulaski Technical College on a number of projects for the campus and is proud to have been a part of the design for this facility.
